Welcome to St. Paul's Lutheran Church!  We are a community of believers in Christ.  Anyone who wishes to know Christ's peace, joy, forgiveness and love is heartily received at our worship services and at our congregational events.  We are actively asking the Spirit of the Risen Christ to transform us into the church that brings God's mercy to the world.

Mission of the Month

Circle of Support (COS), the mission of the month for April, offers mentoring and companionship for folks who are caught in the cycle of incarceration. Because of the way our justice system works, it is very difficult for an individual to make it our of the seemingly never-ending cycle in our jail/prison system. When a person is released from jail or prison they are sent out the same way they went in . They may or may not have a place to live, money to find housing, medications they need or even food. Many have no choice but to rely on old friends, those whose influence is  not one of being a productive member of society. The COS, made up of five or six functioning members of the community, offers support that many don't get from friends or family. Circle members are not expected to provide money or housing; just good advice and support. COS members often know of opportunities and options available in the community that could help folks in transition. Most circles meet weekly and chat like old friends. If you are interested in forming your own circle or joining an existing one, please contact any member of the Outreach Ministries committee: Cheryl Peters, Ardus Cleveland, Ardelle Myers,  Gloria Patterson, Sheila Mielke, Dick Figgie
